After many weeks of the van being off the road, I've had the cylinder head skimmed and rebuilt. And today I finally get to the point of putting the van back together. This is the vw t4 2.5tdi acv engine. After many checks and many cleanings of the faces and the threads of the cylinder head and block, I was ready to install the head. once the head was on I used new head bolts, done them finger tight and progressively tightened them to the required torque, which was 40Nm then 60Nm followed by 90 turn then another 90 degrees. I then fitted and tightened the alternator bracket and alternator before fitting the wires for the glow pugs and the water housing unit temp sensors. Next time I'll fit the timing belt and diesel pump belt. Thanks for watching, take care stay safe God Bless
