In this video we go to the first Amazon Fresh Supermarket in Woodland hills to test out the dash cart which truly revolutionizes the way that we shop for groceries. Add me on instagram: @dneyts Since Amazon is the most popular on-line shopping site it made analysts speculate that Amazon would quickly dominate grocery sales both online and off. Low and behold we’re in 2020 and in Woodland Hills, California they opened the 1st Amazon Fresh store, and boy my shopping experience was very futuristic, and I have a feeling that many shopping stores will have to follow in Amazon’s footsteps if they want to stay competitive. What’s pretty cool too is that the Amazon fresh dash cart has a screen on the cart itself and if you want, it’ll show you a step-by-step tutorial of exactly what you need to do in order to shop there. I did kinda get a little bit confused the first time I put an item in the dash cart but it’s really easy. For most items you simply put them in the cart slowly. Lights on the interior panel of the basket of the cart turn on and the 4 cameras located also on the cart recognize the item and scan the barcode. Just drop the item in your cart and it’s done. With produce I did find that it was a little bit of a hit and miss. Sometimes you can simply drop an item in the cart and it’ll detect it and even weigh it for you, since the Dash cart has a scale, but sometime either it won’t recognize the item or you’ll have to manually go tap the dash cart screen and add the PLU code as well as the number of fruits/vegetables that you are putting in your cart. I did notice that they offer many vegan food options for plant based people, including vegan pastries and cakes and that’s a really great thing since healthy living is becoming more and more popular. They also offer many products that are Amazon Fresh branded such as various types of vegetables, meats, fish, crustaceans and many other types of food as well as a good deli service that once again has many vegi/plant based items as well as many different kinds of foods that can satisfy meat eaters as well as vegetarians, gluten-free and any other kinda style of eating. After all we live in a very diverse society and it makes sense to offer different choices that can appeal to a wider audience. One thing that I’d like to point out is that the staff is really friendly and if they see you struggling with the cart or look like you are lost they will quickly come to your help and ask you if you are looking for something or have trouble scanning an item. One of the highlights of Amazon Fresh is the fact that they have curbside pick-ups as well as deliveries. This is actually one of the reasons why all the employees working there know where most of the products are, simply because when somebody is going to do a curbside pick-up these same employees are entrusted to do the shopping for the orders and spend a lot of their time going through the aisles getting the items ready for pick-up. And if there isn’t an employee close to you, each aisle has Alexa stations, which is Amazon’s cloud-based voice service and can answer questions on pretty much all the products in the store. This is a really nice add on as it makes things so much easier and convenient to find. Another very convenient thing that can be found in-store is their customer service return and pick-up center which as it says has a bunch of lockers where you can have your Amazon items shipped to and you can conveniently drop-off your Amazon return items too. Checking-out of the store as you can imagine is extremely simple. Just roll your Dash Cart over the green check-out area and the cart will automatically detect that you are exiting the store. A quick press of the button and you can view the receipt, pay and sign out, and if you’re old school you can get a printed receipt but isn’t really needed as they’ll email you the receipt and a shopping report will be in your amazon account under the orders section. 0:00 - 0:24 Intro 0:25 - 0:56 Amazon buys Wholefoods 0:57 - 1:14 In Woodland Hills at the 1st Amazon Fresh store 1:15 - 1:48 Amazon Fresh Covid precautions 1:49 - 2:27 Amazon App installation 2:28 - 2:41 Amazon Prime Visa Signature 5% discount 2:42 - 3:30 Amazon Dash Cart touchscreen overview 3:31 - 4:37 Amazon Dash Cart Review 4:38 - 5:13 Healthy Food options 5:14 - 5:54 In-store Deli service 5:55 - 6:08 Amazon Fresh staff review 6:09 - 6:23 Biscoff Speculoos biscuits 6:24 - 6:47 Fresh curbside pickup 6:48 - 7:11 Ask Alexa 7:12 - 7:48 Amazon lockers, Customer Service, Returns & pickup 7:49 - 8:13 Dash cart checkout 8:14 - Amazon fresh customer review and outro #amazonfresh #dashcart #amazonprime
