We're a married couple building our own flagstone patio as part of our Outdoor Oasis DIY Renovation (new deck, cable rail, hot tub). We had received a quote to do the whole patio/backyard oasis for $65,000! We took matters into our own hands and decided to build this ourselves on a tight budget. We bought the flagstone locally, had it delivered, and it should run about ~$4,300. The soil was delivered from a local nursery and was only about $580.
