Poppyfields East is an intermediate ski trail located at Vail Ski Resort. The trail runs from the summit of the Orient Express (Lift #21) down to the bottom of the chairlift. The run begins to the slight skier's left of the top of the chairlift, traversing across the top of the Back Bowls. The trail eventually turns to the right and begins descending into the China Bowl, featuring a sustained intermediate pitch and passing underneath the Orient Express. Once the run reaches the bottom of the bowl, it merges with Poppyfields West to form a singular Poppyfields trail. The run continues down the bottom of the bowl, featuring a few dips before narrowing into a cat track just before arriving at the bottom of the Orient Express.
