Poppyfields West is an intermediate ski trail located at Vail Ski Resort. The trail runs from the Two Elk Lodge and the summit of the Sourdough Express (Lift #14) down to the bottom of the Orient Express (Lift #21). The run begins off the back of the top of the Sourdough Express, first traversing across the top of the China Bowl before turning to the right into the wide-open bowl. The run features a sustained intermediate pitch as it descends its way into the Back Bowls. The run eventually merges with Poppyfields East to form one trail, running along the bottom of the bowl, featuring a series of dips before narrowing into a cat track just before arriving at the bottom of the Orient Express Lift.
