Part 2 here:    • Exclusive Interview (Part 2): Leaving the ...   Kevin Manning, the Executive Pastor of Casey City Church, talks about the recent abuse scandals involving Senior Pastor Larry Sebastian and his wife. Kevin provides a detailed account of his journey with the church since joining around 2012-2013, the escalating abusive behaviour of the Senior Pastor, and his own regret and repentance for failing to take earlier action. He describes the organizational mishandling of abuse claims, the poor intervention by Ministers Fellowship International (MFI), and the significant conflict of interest issues that arose. Kevin expresses his sorrow to those affected and stresses the need for churches to adopt better ethical standards. Despite stepping back from her roles, Karen couldn't ignore the increasing pile of testimonies from affected members. In 2023, prompted by the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and revelations shared by Kevin Manning, the executive pastor, Karen decided that the time had come to stand up for the abused and silenced members of Casey City Church. Joining forces with Kevin and other like-minded individuals, Karen fiercely advocated for transparency, justice, and pastoral care reform.
