Here's Quick Riffs No. 161. As the title implies, I've been writing some riffs in Drop C this week. The tempo here isn't super high, but I did find this one quite challenging on the picking hand. It's pretty consistent all the way through between down picking 8th notes and alternate picking 16th notes. While it doesn't require a crazy amount of picking stamina by itself, after recording the tracks, playing it through 5-6 times to memorise it, then recording the video, my picking hand is pretty much dead hahaha I had to do the 2nd angle in two parts because my wrist was so tired. I really need to work on my picking stamina I think haha. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this week's riffs and as usual, thank you for watching jjrrecording
