Here's another Bill Plympton classic short film from 2002 and it features a parking attendant who gets into an escalating war with a blade of grass that he finds growing right in the middle of his parking lot. This short premiered at the prestigious Annecy Animation Festival in June 2002, then played in the Florida Film Festival, the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, San Francisco IndieFest, Aspen Shortsfest, Newport Beach Film Festival, Philadelphia Film Festival, and the Atlanta Film Festival. Globally it also played at the Melbourne Animation Festival, Anima Mundi in Brazil, the Hiroshima Animation Festival, the DokFestival Leipzig in Germany, Cinanima in Portugal, the Holland Animation Festival, the Jersualem International Film Festival, and the Stockholm International Film Festival, among many others. And again, it's about a guy fighting a blade of grass!
