Boarding the Disney Fantasy! 🚢 Caribbean Disney Cruise Line Vlog | Day 1 | Lisa Preece

It's Disney Cruise Line day!! Honestly, our week aboard the Disney Fantasy was one of the best weeks of my life! I had such an amazing time from the second we stepped into the terminal at Port Canaveral. I was just so darn happy the whole seven days! We left Walt Disney World and Port Orleans Riverside at around 8am to travel to the port in our rental car. We dropped it off at the car rental place and then got their complimentary shuttle to the port. We checked in at the cruise terminal but didn't board until about 12.45 - usually it's a bit earlier than that, but we were the first Halloween on the High Seas cruise so I imagine they had a lot of decorating to do! Once on board, we went to my fave place - Cabanas! Lunch was delicious. We explored the ship on a walking tour with our two favourite cruise staff members: Karis and Nicki Nicki. Then we went to some of the adult pool areas and kids clubs during the open house. I fell a bit in love with Vibe! Too bad it's only for teens aged 13-17. We also got to check out our stateroom, which is number 8558. It's such a perfect location, right by the forward and midship elevators and it's not too many flights down to the atrium or up to the pool deck. I loved it! We've never had a veranda on a cruise before and it felt very special. In the evening, we saw the variety act in the theatre and went to Animator's Palette for dinner. Our servers are so lovely and we had a fantastic meal. The food was gorgeous. After that, we listened to some music in La Piazza and then watched the Buckets and Boards show in The Tube. We also heard a lot about how weird the toilets are in that area so went to check them out! Overall it was a fantastic first day and we met so many lovely Cast Members who went on to become our 'friends' during the cruise.
