This is a recipe of the famous Japanese dish – gyoza. Rose gyozas are dumplings that are shaped in the form of beautiful blooming roses. In this recipe, minced meat and vegetables are delicately enwrapped in thin dough sheets in the form of blooming roses. They are seared and simmered to perfection and served on a crisp gyoza skirt. The dish has its origins in China, where it is also known as ‘Jiaozi’. Gyoza is a blend of both Chinese and Japanese culinary traditions.
