Founded in 1832, the Strasburg Rail Road celebrated the 175th Anniversary of its railroad charter in 2007. Precisely when the railroad first turned a wheel is still a matter of patient research, but the earliest timetable found to date indicates Strasburg trains were scheduled as of December 1851. Today, we take a look into the Strasburg Railroad's very own locomotive shops and engine house. Some of the Highlight of the Shops were the Drivers of Big Boy #4014 and Boston and Maine #3713, Rio Grande Southern 20, and Canadian National 7312. Also we saw Thomas the Tank Engine and Percy, as we'll as the Norfolk and Western Mastadon #475, the only operational 4-8-0 in the United states
