The Moral Root: A Musical Micro-Movie Architecture is more than steel and glass; it is a vessel for the stories we choose to tell—and the ones that have been forcibly hidden In this special Black History Month musical "micro-movie" episode of The R.K.W. Architectural Lens, we follow Roderic—a queer Chicago architect living ten years in the future—as he searches for the "missing soul" in his modern health equity toolkit. When a temporal glitch triggers a "Drift," Roderic is transported from his high-tech firm back to the red-clay foundations of the Tuskegee Institute in 1892 Caught between the future he’s designing and the history that designed him, Roderic encounters _The Griot: Keeper of the Vine_, an AI oral historian and time traveler. Through a landscape of icons both celebrated and eclipsed—from the bricks of Tuskegee, designed by architect *Robert Robinson Taylor*, to the rhythmic pulse of *Frankie Knuckles*, the father of Chicago House—Roderic discovers that true impact isn’t found in a computer. It is built on the irrefutable proof of our humanity. Inside the Episode The Drift: A cinematic journey through temporal synthesis to the origins of Black architectural excellence. The Health Equity Toolkit A deep dive into why modern data is a hollow structure without a moral foundation. The Obscured Icons A speculative encounter with the Griot—the AI-powered bridge between what was lost and what must be reclaimed. The Score Five original songs composed for this micro-movie: 1. Synthesis of The Root 2._Justice by Design (In The Mirror)_ 3._Hallowed Ground_ 4._Keeper of the Vine_ 5._Five Miles, Fifteen Years_ Help Us Build a Living Monument History has often "eclipsed" the names of those who built our world.
