This is how to make an FPV long range flight... and what can go wrong. Problem #1: Dragonlink. The Dragonlink was spewing interference on my 1.3GHz video which is what caused the video scrambling and those horizontal lines in the video. Problem #2: Wind shift - When I had Jeremiah turn the plane around, We got into a high head wind that wasn't present at launch. We dove out of it, but it took us some time to figure out what was happening with the OSD. Problem #3 - Damaged airframe. The elevons fatigued and one failed causing me to fly with only 1 functional servo.
