After hitting Wicked Wanda as Tom's first ice multi, we hatched a plan to do a basecamp style ice trip in the Ghost River Wilderness. Lucas was coming to town and after doing Anorexia Nervosa last year, we said we would go back from more... Chilkoot Passage, Beowulf and Seagull made for some lovely climbing and wonderful slot canyon adventures. But for me... the scenery far out did the climbing itself... man it is ever pretty in there... One night of -20c and another at -15c ish kept is ice dry and the wood stove going. It was cool to be so comfortable out in said conditions. Tom's setup was clutch! Thanks buddy! We managed to dodge to crowds in what it becoming just as busy an area as another other Rockies ice routes... I want more of this...
