Anorexia Nervosa -- Ice Climbing in The Ghost Wilderness

So I ran into Barry Blanchard at Save-on-Foods and he told me to go climb Anorexia Nervosa. Well, it just so happens that thanks to Loren and Jason, we had a Ghost-mobile and the 4 of us were keen to hop on! After a reasonable drive in, we wondered in the general direction of the climb and located the correct drainage. After just about an hour of hiking we made it to the base. While the car was reading +8 degrees c at the car (crazy, right!) it was near freezing and windy up in that gully. Lucas took pitch 1 and enjoyed the chimney exit. I led pitch 2 while Lorne and Jason swung tools for the first time this season below, separated by "A ledge so big you could park the truck on it." I soloed much of the pitch, until the ice changed character to slightly more brittle and unpredictable. I brought Lucas up and we waited for Jason to lead pitch 2 and Loren to make it up to our belay cave. From there, we did some partner swiping. Lucas and I led up the final pitch next to each other which was a rather cool experience for both of us. With some logistics we fixed raps on the entire route and got down rather quickly.
