In detail, the petrol sector is represented by the efficiency of the PureTech architecture, starting with the 1.2 3-cylinder turbo with 130 HP (96 kW) with its 230 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. It is supported by the 4-cylinder turbo 1.6 with 180 HP (133 kW) and 250 Nm of torque at 1,650 rpm. The operating economy is demonstrated instead by the 1.5 BlueHDi Diesel with 130 HP (96 kW) and the generous torque of 300 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The E-TENSE plug-in hybrid version emblematically projects DS 4 towards the future, thanks to the presence of the 180 HP 1.6 petrol engine (132 kW for tax purposes) and an 81 kW electric motor. The maximum power of this propulsion system becomes equal to 225 HP, with the overall torque of 360 Nm and the 110 Nm of the electric motor immediately available during acceleration. The 12.4 kWh traction battery allows electric travel up to 135 km/h with 54 km of autonomy, while charging is completed in 1 hour 30 minutes from the DS Wallbox. All this, with emissions reduced to 35 g/km of CO2 in the mixed cycle, or zero in Electric mode. All propulsion solutions are characterized by the presence of the 8-speed automatic gearbox, a champion of reactivity and fluidity, therefore the perfect companion for high-level comfort.
