After such a long winter, hope feels especially precious. In this video I’m creating the March page in my handmade yearly art journal, a journal with twelve pages, one for each month. At the beginning of the month I drew a tarot card for each month and let its energy guide the page and the reflection that unfolds while I paint. This is part of my One Page at a Time yearly art journal series. For March, the card was The Star. The Star carries a quiet message of hope, healing, renewal and trust in the future. This winter has been challenging in many ways, both outwardly and inwardly, and the message of this card arrived exactly when I needed it most. Through art journaling and intuitive painting, I create space to slow down, process emotions and reconnect with what truly matters. The page for March became a reminder that even after the longest winters, hope returns. Outside, the first signs of spring are beginning to appear. Bees moving through the almond blossoms, warmer sunlight breaking through colder days. Nature continues its quiet work of renewal, and it reminds me that life keeps moving forward even through the hardest seasons. Art journaling helps me return to that sense of trust. One page at a time. If you enjoy reflective art process videos, art journaling, intuitive painting, and creative reflection, I’m glad you’re here.
