Bring the flavours of southern Italy straight to your kitchen with this authentic Spaghetti alla Puttanesca — a bold, rustic pasta bursting with garlic, anchovies, capers, and rich tomato sauce. 👇 FULL RECIPE BELOW 👇 Ingredients (serves 2–3): • 200g spaghetti • 3 tbsp olive oil • 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced • 3 anchovy fillets in oil • ½ tsp chilli flakes (or to taste) • 1 tbsp capers, rinsed • 6–8 black olives, roughly chopped (optional but traditional) • 400g tin whole peeled tomatoes (preferably San Marzano) • Salt & freshly ground black pepper • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Instructions: 1. Add olive oil and sliced garlic to a cold pan. Heat gently until fragrant and lightly golden. 2. Add the chilli flakes and anchovies. Stir until the anchovies melt into the oil. 3. Add capers and olives, and cook for another minute to release their flavours. 4. Pour in the whole tinned tomatoes, crush them with a spoon, and simmer gently for 10–12 minutes until thickened. 5. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. 6. Add the pasta directly into the sauce with a splash of pasta water. Toss well until coated. 7. Taste and adjust with salt, pepper, or more chilli. 8.
