The pace of sailing across the Red Sea has been fast, with only a few days of rest before having to move on again... It does feel odd to just wait, but constantly moving is also exhausting. Sailing in the Red Sea area is definitely very different from other places; the unstable political situation, the unpredictable strong north winds, and the language barrier... What gives me hope is the future, the thought that the next stop might be better, that Egypt or Turkey will be more beautiful. I know this isn’t the healthiest mindset! Anyway, living in the moment is what truly matters. No matter what the sea brings me—whether it’s breathtaking views or cold sea winds with a more mundane seascape! This is sailing: sometimes rough, sometimes calm, and always unpredictable.
