At the start of the second week, we sailed into the heart of one of the most complex maritime regions in the world, less than two days away from Somalia. Whether we veer slightly north or south, it's dangerous... and we've already run out of fruits and vegetables on board. The good news is that the winds have been stable throughout the journey, so it should only take 18 days of sailing. We have just one week left before reaching Djibouti in Africa! Time flies—it’s hard to believe we’ve already spent 10 days on the boat... I remember when we first boarded, the captain proudly introduced the twin foresails. At first, I thought I didn’t understand because my English wasn’t good enough... Later, I realized it’s some cutting-edge technology. Not only does it make the boat faster, but it also keeps it more stable during sailing. The only downside is that installing the poles is quite dangerous... After doing it once, I don't want to do it again! Thanks to UKMTO for continuously safeguarding this region. I hope we can be under their protection soon!
