Gameplay of Mini Splatling RTL-R on clam blitz. This weapon was quite fun to play and it give this weapon another way of supporting the team. Mini splatling is a short-ish range weapon that does solid damage, good mobility, good DPS, good paint output, and a fast charge time. The kit is also quite good. Squid beakon is a sub weapon that allow you to place down a devices that provide a super jumps location for you and your team. And trizooka is a special weapon that allow you to wield a weapon that shoot three orbiting blobs a very far distance. Now I'll talk about the strength and weakness of this weapon and it's kit. The weapon is pretty good at supporting the team. The weapon has enough paint output to quickly turf over an area, which helps in taking control of an area fast and building up for your special, while still being able to apply pressure. Squid beakon really help your team get back into the action if they're placed in a good position. You can play up to three beakon, which can help you jump to more position on the map. And if you look on your map, it will also mark opponent who are near the beakon. And trizooka can help in displacing and killing opponents from a great distance. You can angle your shots to shoot over terrains and the blobs will kill opponent hit directly hit by it. And the explosion from the blobs is quite big and deals good poke damage to opponent not directly hit by it. But mini splatling gets outrange by mid to long range weapons, making it struggle to approach against them. And although the weapon has a fast charge speed, it still some down time for the weapon, which mean that your quite vulnerable to attacks if you're caught off guard without a charged attacks. Squid beakon doesn't help you with displacing opponent, so you're quite reliant on either your teammate to help you push up or your special. The beakons are also pretty fragile and if an enemies breaks them and you were jumping too the beakon, well you're most likely to going to punished hard. And trizooka can be a bit inconsistent due to how the blobs orbit around each other and you're also vulnerable when firing, You also only have three tries to shoot, which mean you have to make shot count. So when your playing the Mini Splatling RTL-R, you want to focus on passively painting for your special and gaining some turf control. And once you have some control, try to apply some aggro pressure by flanking your opponent. Try to have your attack charge up before engaging into a fight and utilizes cover to not only close the distance, but also to help you safetly charge up an attack before fighting. Place down a beakon as you slowly push up the map, but try to have one beakon far back, and two around the middle of the map. And once you build up your special, use it to try to displace or kill opponents. Just remember to not overextend too much and maintain you ink output.
