Discovering how to navigate multiple “selves,” Sophia Pearce explores what it means to fit in, choose social circles, and find happiness through understanding others. In her talk, she reflects on her experiences growing up across different cultures and schools, highlighting how empathy, self-awareness, and connection can guide us toward meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging. Sophia Pearce is a British student born in Shanghai, China, with a Russian mother and British father, and a speaker at the TEDx St. Peter’s International School Youth Event. Having attended schools in multiple countries, she has grown up with a rich multicultural perspective. Passionate about music and helping others, she enjoys understanding both people and herself.
