An important property of the ideal gas: the Chemical Potential

We are interested in finding a function of the pressure and the volume that represents the Chemical Potential of an ideal gas. To do this, we use the Gibbs-Duhem relation (a famous result in Thermodynamics) the entropy and the equation of the ideal gas. Then, using the Euler equation we can get a more elegant way to express the Chemical potential by eliminating the entropy of the initial state. This allows us to see that the Chemical potential depends on the total kinetic energy of the gas.
