In this episode we detail what people ate in the 1100s. At least what we have record of. What royalty and peasants ate was vastly different to each other, especially in France where they ate based on how noble a food was in relation to how noble the person was holding the fork. (And of course they didn't use forks at that time, so knife maybe.) We studied what Eleanor ate and recreated a meal based on what we could get in our area.
