You can check out his tutorial for more info on basic soapmaking. Want to see the Teardrop Soap I entered in Amy Warden's soap club challenge!? https://www.facebook.com/untidyartist... Recipe Castor Oil 2 oz (7.14%) Coconut Oil 7 oz. (25%) Kokum Butter 1 oz. (3.57%) Mango Butter 2 oz (7.14%) Olive Oil 16 oz. (57.14%) 10 oz distilled water (I used the FULL amount of liquid for this technique!) 3.88 oz sodium hydroxide (lye) Tussah silk 1 1/2 tsp. Sodium Lactate Me & Yuzu Fragrance Oil (Mad Oils) Mica Tahitian Teal, Peacock, Tangerine Dream, Spicy Tomato (Mad Oils - http://www.madoils.com/collections/so...) Winter White Mica (Nurture Soap - https://nurturesoap.com/gold-white-mi...) **SAFETY WARNING** If you are new to soapmaking make sure you know the basic knowledge of the soapmaking process and most importantly the safety procedures to use when handling lye. Do not attempt to make soap unless you have thoroughly researched the soapmaking process. Making soap requires the use of lye which is also called Sodium Hydroxide. Lye is a caustic substance that can cause severe burns if it’s inhaled or makes contact with skin. It is VERY important to do all of your soap making in a well-ventilated area and be sure to use rubber gloves, goggles and a surgical mask. Long sleeved shirts are also recommended to protect your arms. ****************************************************************** Here are some links to useful websites and tutorials that were helpful to me in my soapmaking journey!
