Welcome back to our Blind 100% Playthrough of Sonic Megamix Mania! Our Adventure continues with Tails' Campaign. In addition to his Genesis moveset, Tails boasts the Tailwhip from Adventure, which retains the projectile attack from the original Sonic 1 Megamix, as well as the widely appreciated Flight Cancel to drop onto Badniks in a pinch, and new to Megamix Mania, the Flight Leap, which sends Tails rocketing upward a small distance before entering Flight Mode. This is a technique I'd been hoping to see implemented for a very long time. Tail's main flaw is that he can't gain vertical momentum during Flight as much as many would like, so to have the ability to gain vertical height quickly in a pinch is a Godsend. This move is a ton of fun, and I love its addition to the game, especially with how it is used to find some cheeky Red Star Rings. Tails' ability to explore is almost unrivaled by the other characters, so we found quite a few more Red Rings and Secrets during his playthrough, and obtaining the Chaos Emeralds was a breeze with how many Warp Rings he can access.
