Since 1969, Delhi Center has been a pillar of strength for the Santa Ana community. Built to serve immigrant families during a time of segregation and inequality, the Center has grown alongside its neighborhood, meeting people where they are and helping them rise with dignity, compassion, and hope. For more than 56 years, families have walked through our doors during moments of crisis—facing food insecurity, low household income, housing instability, and limited access to resources. At Delhi Center, food assistance is often the starting point, but empowerment is the goal. Through a holistic, trauma-informed approach, we support individuals and families with job assistance, basic needs, wellness, and long-term stability. What makes Delhi Center unique is that over 65% of our staff live in the very community they serve. Their lived experience allows them to respond with empathy, understanding, and culturally rooted care—creating a true sense of belonging for everyone who walks through our doors.
