I made this video because in Dji's most recent update (November 2024) Updates to telementry data were made and I wanted to see if I could actually use my Garmin watch for telementry data. DJI has released the update enabling Apple/ Select Garmin devices/Coros GPS devices to record telementry data and then be uploaded to Dji footage that was recorded at the same time telementry data was recorded. Although the update improved the synching of telementry data recorded from my Garmin Enduro 3 watch, it still wasn't close when it comes to the data being timestamped to the recorded video. I still had to make adjustments to the telementry data using their "Time alignment" option in the DASHBOARD section of the Dji app. All in all, your ultimate choice for the most accurate and reliable telementry data will be with using Dji's GPS Remote. You wont have to do any special adjustments or anything. The only bad thing about that remote is the battery life isn't good and it takes forever "sometimes" to find reception despite the remote being in an open area.
