hello friends!!! its been quite a long time since my last upload hehe.. last month i went to taipei for the first time and it amazed me so much so i hope this video captured the essence of taipei that i felt when i was there. ** also note that i used SGD in the vid HAHA ___________ heres a bit more info if you guys are still curious.. budgeting here is actually quite easy.. i spent $300+ on food & activities and it could be way cheaper if you guys dont go to more ex cafes like the meercat cafes yk😹😹😹😹 in terms of FOOD, we always opted for street food in the morning bcs it is cheaper and the night markets as well. however we did splurge a bit on the cafes HAHA in terms of ACCOMODATION, the hotel we stayed at (CHECK inn sancheong) was rlly rlly great as well.. the location as well as the ammenities provided.. there was a water dispenser on each level of the hotel which was a lifesaver in terms of ACTIVITIES, as u could tell from the video, there were many activities that were free entry or even if we did have to pay, it was only a few dollars like the tamsui museum in terms of TRANSPORT, we mainly took buses and trains which were rlly affordable.. however do note that the buses that go out of the district eg. to places like Wulai, would cost more chae and i couldnt speak mandarin yet we were able to still have a great time using google translate & actually most people in taipei do know abit of english so it was not an issue! overall, if you guys want a short affordable getaway, taipei is a go-to!
