A departmental-level workshop and mock drill were conducted at Pithabata near Similipal. Officials from the Forest Department, Fire Services, Health Department, Education Department, and local villagers participated. Advanced training was provided to frontline forest staff on firefighting techniques. Drones and AI-powered cameras will be used for real-time monitoring and quick response.
