Chicken Chatpata: Chicken Chatpata is hot and sour and tangy and spicy flavours. Its gourmets delight. Ingredients: marination: 1. Chicken. 700 Gms 2. Turmeric powder. Half Tspoon 3. Red chilli powder. 1 Tspoon 4. Kashmiri Red chilli powder 1 Tspoon 5. Coriander powder. 2 Tspoon 6. Cumin powder. 1 Tspoon 7. Garam masala powder. Half Tspoon 8. Black pepper powder. Half Tspoon 9. Chaat masala powder. 1 Tspoon 10. Salt. Half Tspoon 11. Ginger garlic paste. 2 Tspoon 12. Lime juice. 1 Tspoon 13. Red chilli sauce. 2 tablespoon 14. Soya sauce. 1 tablespoon 15. Mustard oil. 1 tablespoon Onions. 2 medium Tomatoes. 2 medium Green chillies whole. 3+3 Cumin seeds whole. Half Tspoon Curry patta. 10-15 leaves Salt to taste Kasuri Methi. 2 Tspoon Tomato ketchup . 1 tablespoon Oil. 2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing Method: 1. Marinate Chicken with all the ingredients listed for marination. (1 to 15) 2. Keep aside for half an hour or more. 3. In a pressure cooker heat oil and add cinnamon and 5-6 cloves. 4. When aroma is released, add half Tspoon cumin seeds (jeera) 5. When splutter, add 15-20 curry patta (neem patta). 6. Add finely chopped onion and sauté till golden brown. 7. Add 3 green chillies Slitted. 8. Add chopped tomatoes. 9. Add salt to taste. Remember we added salt while marinating chicken. 10. Sauté till tomatoes are soft and mushy. 11. Add half Tspoon sugar to balance the sourness 12. Add 2 Tspoon Kasuri Methi (dry fenugreek leaves). 13. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. 14. Add marinated chicken. 15. Wash the bowl with water and add to chicken. 16. Roast for 7-8 minutes till Chicken change colour. 17. Add 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup. 18. Roast for 3 minutes more. 19. Add 1.5 cups of water. 20. When gravy bubbles, cover the lid of pressure cooker. 21. Blow 2 whistles on medium flame 22. When steam is released, open the lid. 23. Check the chicken. It should be tender. If not blow 1 more whistle. 24. Chicken Chatpata is ready. 25. Garnish with 3 whole green chillies and fresh coriander leaves. 26.
