Shoutout to the goat kennychiwa for lubing these browns for me and for tuning the spacebar wire! I know I ran this combo before with regular hyperglide browns but I wasn't happy with the lube job on those and this build is now using a hotswap PCB instead the millmaxed one and you can definitely hear the difference. The sound is way more full with the hotswap PCB where the switches have more contact with the PCB vs with the millmaxed PCB. Will be uploading another build with the millmaxed PCB soon too. Been saying this for a while now but man does millmax hold back the sound of a board to my ears. As much as millmax has its benefits with having more longevity vs hotswap, the sound is always more muted vs a hotswap or soldered build where the switch makes full contact with the PCB. Call me a certified millmax hater (I still millmax my PCBs here and there LOL). Take a shot every time I've said "PCB" in this description. Also caved and copped the brown cherry paper mat, just looks so sick on the desk and couldn't resist.
