Fresh off the boat from Wales, Catfish and the Bottlemen have made quite a splash in the U.S. indie scene. Led by singer Van McCann the boys have already played big name festivals like T in the Park, Reading & Leeds and the Governor’s Ball in New York. With their punky riffs and McCann’s strong vocals the Bottlemen were destined to be the next big fish in an equally big pond. Their breakout single “Kathleen” centers on a girl who has kicked her drug dealing boyfriend to the curb to be with McCann. But in true young love fashion has become frustrated with their sex life.
