Software profiling and profilers

In this video we discuss the use of profiling tools to analyze program run time and memory use. We discuss injection-based profilers and sampling based profilers, and some of the concerns in gathering sufficient profiling information to make reasonable projections about program behaviour. This video is part of a series spanning three introductory courses on programming and computer science.
