A day on Ko Kret Island was amazing from getting there on a short ferry ride to hiring a bike for the day. Exploring local life on the island where the Mon people live and work, kids at school and beautiful temples. You have plenty of food to choose from, cafes to local market food. I went mid week so it was very quiet compared to the weekend and unfortunately mid week a lot was closed but it was peaceful. Great family day from start to finish only 50 minutes from Bangkok to the ferry then under 5 min ride to the island for 3 baht. A range of bicycles or electric bikes to choose from, I got all day for 60 baht per bicycle.
