In this episode of our Baja van life travels, we leave Cerritos Beach planning to head to Cabo San Lucas… but immediately realize it’s way too crowded, touristy, and not the kind of place we love for van life. Instead of forcing it, we change plans — and it turns out to be one of the best decisions of our entire Baja trip. We end up at La Fortuna, where we find free beach camping right on the sand surrounded by other van lifers, incredible ocean views, amazing local food, and even whale watching from shore. With morning coffee at Baja Station, evening showers, and friendly donkeys roaming the beach, this place was exactly what we were looking for. From there we head toward Cabo Pulmo National Park, but after struggling to find camping, we continue on to a hidden gem called Playa Miramar just outside of town, where we score another perfect free beach campsite for the night. For Valentine’s Day and Clif’s birthday, we decide to do something different and head into the mountains to Rancho San Dionisio — an organic farm and ranch that ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Baja adventure. We camp in a mango orchard, cook fresh food from the garden, hike to a swimming hole, and enjoy a peaceful weekend completely off the grid. If you're traveling Baja in a van, RV, or overlanding rig, these are stops you won’t want to miss. 👍 Subscribe for more van life adventures 🐶 Traveling full time with our senior golden retriever 🚐 Living full time in our Ram Promaster camper van #vanlife #bajamexico #bajavanlife #mexicovanlife #overlanding #cabopulmo #vanlifetravel #beachcamping #vanlifeadventures #ranchosandionisio
