This pure Blue-Eyes True Light Control deck focuses on summoning Blue-Eyes White Dragon (using True Light/Ancient stone) and Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon (using its effect/Ancient stone). Cards choices reasonings: 3 BEWD, 3 Ancient stone, 2 Jet, 1 Bingo, 3 True Light : The core package of Pure Blue-Eyes True Light Control build. Ultimate Creature of Destruction : Better than ultimate fusion currently, as it can protect jet Dragon Shrine : consistency cards. sending blue-eyes white dragon + ancient stone/jet. Pot of properity and Pot of extravagance : consistency cards. Extravagance is better than heavenly prison currently, because lord of the heavenly prison confilcts with one of the best traps against meta currently, (gozen match since we are playing blue-eyes). Gozen and rivalry , are also being played by floodgates decks like Runick, making LotHP unsummonable. Cosmic cyclone : great against runick field spell/floodgates like TCBOO and gozen. Better than harpies feather duster currently. Skill drain : best floodgate for this deck Gozen match : very great against decks with different attribute monsters like swordsoul, adamancipator, mathmech etc. can also be great when going second with this card . Summon limit: very great against decks that spam monsters in a turn, like swordsoul, mathmech, adamancipator, floo, etc. Anti-spell fragrance : very great against runick/sky striker. Can be decent against sowrdsoul/mathmech. Use it on draw phase so your opponent cannot use his normal spell. Ice dragon’s prison : great against swordsoul and mathmech. Might have added more, if I had more. Torrential tribute : great against decks that spam monsters in a turn, although it must be used at the correct timing. Paleozoic dinomischus : can banish any face-up card (monster/spell/trap), making it a very versatile card against many different meta decks currently. The discard is affordable most of the time , as you can send any blue-eyes cards to GY to summon/use their effects later. Dogmatika punishment : a single monster removal, and the potential of destroying another card/protection for blue-eyes. The Extra deck lock doesn’t matter anymore, since ultimate fusion is no longer on the decklist. Lost wind : better than solemn strike currently imo. . Extra decks : Multiple copies to avoid all cards getting banished from extravagance's cost. Linkuriboh and Pisty : link 1 to send ancient stone to GY. Hieratic link: can use its effect under skill drain. N’tss and Fossil skull wagon: cost for dogmatika punishment and giving the potential of destroying another card. Neo blue-eyes : cost for dogmatika punishment and giving the protection for blue-eyes. Galaxy eyes cipher and cipher blade dragon : Destroy opponent's cards. . . Other cards I had tried/considered to play (which you can use as the alternatives for the above cards in case your match-up is suitable): Lord of the heavenly prison : extravagance is better currently imo, although it can search dragon shrine/bingo better, which is why I played it in the past. Ultimate fusion : Ultimate creature is better currently. Harpies feather duster : cosmic cyclone is better currently Called by the grave : can be great against some GY decks, but I feel other cards are better / more generic. Infinite Impermanence : can act as a handtrap, but lost wind, punishment and IDP are better currently. Compulsory evacuation device : punishment and IDP are better currently. good against fusion decks like branded. Terrors of the overroots : can disrupt any decks that requires any monster/ card to stay on the field, like mathmech/runick. However, it is an UR, which makes it a little more expensive. Rivalry of warlords : Can be good if you face multiple monster-type decks. Imperial iron wall : it’s better when combined with heavenly prison since it counters runick, swordsoul, etc. However, it conflicts with pot which is very important currently. Shadow-imprisoning : great against dark decks There can be only one : I might play it if I still play heavenly prison. Solemn judgment and strike : feels kinda weak currently. .
