Fatwood! How to Idenify A Pinewood Stump, Harvest+Burn (Epidode 34) Lone-Wolf Scouting Fatwood

Welcome to Lone-Wolf Wilderness Scouting Fatwood Adventures (Episode 34). In this episode, I demonstrate how to locate and Identify a Pinewood stump and harvest Fatwood from it. There are many different ways to harvest Fatwood, and this is just one example of going about getting some of that good old Fatwood. There are methods of Harvesting Fatwood, and some ways are more vigorous than others. In this episode, I demonstrate harvesting fatwood the hard way, which takes time and patience. There were two types of Fatwood I harvested, the stem or what's called the core of the pine tree leading down into the root system. The farther you go down into the pinewood root system, the more fibrous the wood becomes. I started cutting down toward the root system cutting from the top of the core and working my way deep down into the root system. Cutting into that root system was no easy task, but I love what I do and driven by my passion for the outdoors and scouting Fatwood. One last thing I would like to say, I was planning on grilling two hot dogs, but by the time I got the fire burning, the thundershowers started to roll in sooner than I expected, and I had to abort the mission in a hurry.
