Samobor is a city in Zagreb county, Croatia. We started our walk on the wooden bridge over the Gradna river and moved past the museum, then through the historical center and along the river bank. On our previous road trip to Croatia, we came across Samobor quite by chance, and since we liked the city very much, we decided to come back. It's a good place to spend a peaceful evening. Which does not mean that nothing happens in the city or that there are no people around. The receptionist of the hotel told us a story about a strange friendship of a cat and a weasel. Every day at dusk they meet secretly in the parking lot of the hotel. And yes, the cat was there! But we were too tired to wait for the weasel. So we probably have to come back one day. There is also a really nice bench at the top of a hill next the church. It's a perfect place to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city from distance.
