A note from Savannah Bananas Owner, Jesse Cole: "It's been almost three years since Emily Cole and I became foster parents. Two amazing girls have become a part of our family on this journey, and now will join us permanently in the coming months as we are finalizing the adoption process. Through it all, we've learned so much about the foster needs in our country, for kids, parents and everyone involved. That is why we launched our non-profit, Bananas Foster Inc with the Savannah Bananas. In the past six months, we've been so fortunate to have the opportunity to recognize amazing families all over the country in front of sold out crowds. With that, we've seen numerous families sign up to become foster parents. Currently there are 400,000 kids in the United States alone without a permanent home. And we are going to change that. As I shared in the clip in this interview, just like the Bananas, we believe we are going to create the demand to create a waitlist of families that want to foster. It's going to take a lot of time and a ton of hard work and recognition, but with the amazing support we've already seen, we know we are on the right track.
