GATE to EECS IISc Meet 2025

The GATE to EECS IISc Meet 2025 was organised on 26 September 2025 by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) student chapters of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The aim was to highlight the importance of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), especially in securing admission to Indian higher educational institutions, the exciting research that happens at IISc, the MTech and PhD programmes offered, the GATE requirements for specific programmes, and preparation for the GATE exam. Students from seven departments/centres of IISc -- Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS), Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Department of Computer Science and Automation (CSA), Department of Electrical and Communication Engineering (ECE), Department of Electrical Engineering (EE), and Department of Electronic Systems Engineering (ESE) -- answered participant queries in an elaborate Q&A session.
