Pathogen Load  Associated with the severity of many infections.  Consequence of how fast the pathogen can replicate.  Duration of the ongoing infection.  Inhibition or killing of pathogen by the host response.  Viruses form just 14% of the total human pathogens.  Viruses account for 44% among new and emerging pathogens.  Brazilian based research  States of Tocantins and Amapa.  Identification of one Ambidensovirus in patients.  Symptoms similar to dengue or Zika.  Viral species in this genus have been described only in insects, shellfish and other invertebrates; never in mammals.  Researchers are still not sure if Ambidensovirus is responsible for the patients’ morbidity.  Ambidensovirus  Was a genus of viruses in the subfamily Densovirinae.  The genus was split into the following six genera in 2019 • Aquambidensovirus • Blattambidensovirus • Hemiambidensovirus • Pefuambidensovirus • Protoambidensovirus • Scindoambidensovirus  US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention  Recognises 1407 human pathogens.  60% of 1407 human pathogens are zoonotic.  These pathogens have managed to cross species barriers.  Establishment of diseases in human population.  Most of the pathogens can maintain their life cycle reservoir in an animal and infect humans when they get a chance.
