Meet one of our founding My PlayClub members, Spencer Hawk. He and his family first visited Aidan’s Place, our second inclusive playground to open in Los Angeles, at the age of 2 during a play club event. What did they find there? The freedom to play independently, the embrace of community and connection, and the life-changing impact of kindness. Now an articulate and inspired 19-year-old advocate, Spencer has taken those experiences on Inclusion Matters playgrounds and transformed them into powerful messages that he carries to thousands. We had the honor of witnessing his inspiring advocacy last December at the Born This Way Foundation and Too Small To Fail’s virtual inclusion summit.
