Number 50, who would have thought? Venturing a little further and increasing the running time and load a little, following the first, shorter test ride already seen, usually if a machine completes this run following a rebuild and makes it home without any issues or leaks etc, it can be deemed 'Good to go', as appears to be the case here. I had some minor niggles, first with some A-hole in a van behind me [not seen], who seemed to want to close right up on me on corners, but not keep up on straighter sections of the mountain road - the road was wet, salty and slightly muddy in places and fast cornering was not an option for me! Then, the mirror worked loose and I accidentally hit the kill switch twice, while trying to deal with it! Finally, those bungled gear changes - I think they were as much down to me as anything and the gear change was mostly very good and the clutch worked well. The engine was exceptionally good, being smooth and powerful and I am very pleased with it, but then I would say that, wouldn't I !
