PREP: 40 minutes COOK: 20 minutes SERVES: 4 INGREDIENTS: 200 g beef mince 200 g pork mince 12 streaky bacon slices 2 tbsp breadcrumbs 2 tbsp milk Pinch of nutmeg 3 tbsp butter Salt and pepper Gravy STEP 1: MAKE THE MINCE MIXTURE Combine the pork and beef mince with the breadcrumbs, milk, salt and pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg and mix until well combined. STEP 2: SHAPE THE CYLINDERS Tear of a 6th of the mixture - it should be about a small palm-full - and roll it into a ball, then squash in into a cylinder shape. Continue until you have used up all your mince. STEP 3: WRAP IN BACON Lay out two strips of bacon, then roll up each cylinder so they are evenly wrapped. Secure the bacon with a toothpick, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes. STEP 4: COOK Heat the butter in a pan, then cook in two batches until brown on all sides. Serve with potatoes and peas, and top with some gravy.
