This is a place of encountering Jesus through the word of God. Title: Living for God’s Glory In Psalms 26, David chooses integrity over personal fame. Though celebrated as a king, he seeks not his own glory but God’s. He longs for God’s presence, walks in sincerity, avoids corrupt influences, and humbly asks for mercy. True integrity is not sinlessness—it is wholehearted devotion to God. In Gospel of Mark 9, Peter, James, and John witness Jesus transfigured in glory. Yet this radiant moment is inseparable from the path of suffering that follows. Jesus reveals that glory in God’s kingdom is not about status or applause, but obedience, faith, and sacrifice. Like the desperate father who cried, “Help my unbelief,” we learn that faith invites us to see God’s power at work. In Exodus 39–40, God’s glory fills the tabernacle. The same God now dwells with His people by His Spirit. His presence guides, strengthens, and transforms us. Today, seek not recognition, but His presence. Reflect His glory through integrity, faith, and worship—knowing that present struggles are preparing you for eternal glory. SCRIPTURE READING Psalm 26 Mark 9:2-32 Exodus 39 Exodus 40 TREASURE SCRIPTURE Mark 9:29 NKJV 29So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.” Power Through Prayer In Gospel of Mark 9:29, Jesus responds to His disciples after they fail to cast out a demon. Their inability reveals a hard truth: spiritual battles cannot be won through human effort alone. When Jesus says, “This kind cannot come out except by prayer,” He points to dependence, not technique. Some struggles require deeper surrender, stronger faith, and closer communion with God. Victory is not about authority in our own strength, but intimacy with the Father. The phrase “this kind” reminds us that spiritual warfare is real and varied. Yet the focus is not on the power of darkness, but on the greater power of God. Prayer aligns us with that power. It shifts us from self-reliance to Spirit-reliance. The disciples had walked with Jesus, but they still had to learn that ministry flows from relationship. Prayer and fasting is not a last resort—it is the lifeline and a lifestyle. When you face challenges beyond your strength, let them drive you to your knees, not to discouragement. Power is released where dependence is cultivated.
