Welcome to Underground Service Alert of Northern California & Nevada's Online Ticket Training Video. In this video we will be teaching you how view the Electronic Positive Response codes on the 811 tickets you create. Electronic Positive Response (EPR) is a system that encourages communication from member utility companies to Underground Service Alert notifying us of the status of the ticket or the method they chose to respond to a ticket. At this time, electronic positive response is required in California and voluntary in the state of Nevada. Currently, Nevada stakeholders are going through the process to add a mandatory electronic positive response statute. Therefore you may not always see an electronic positive response from all utility members posted online in Nevada. Please make sure and do your due diligence in tracking responses from the utility members on your ticket request. You need to ensure that you have received a response from all utility members on your ticket before proceeding with your digging project.
