The first time I heard Starry Night was at a Joe Satriani show back when I was 16. I went with my dad and also the tenant who was renting the upstairs portion of our house at the time, along with his girlfriend. There was a moment in the show that really stood out to me, Joe played this fricken beautiful song, made me feel like I was in heaven or something. After the show I asked our tenant what song that was and he said it was called "Starry Night". Joe Satriani has been a big influence on me and Guilherme as musicians. About a year and a half ago we covered Always With Me, Always With You, this time we wanted to cover another Satriani song but transform it a bit more than before.
