We're continuing the brand new city in the Cities: Skylines Region of Coniferia! With the first major line of the detailed tram network now in place, downtown Port Douglas is served by public transport in the form of a train line and trams! In this episode, we expand Port Douglas to the North West, specifically alongside the major avenue that cuts through the heart of the city. We will be developing this area with the same step-by-step approach used to build the downtown of the city, by establishing some height restrictions, placing down the most prominent buildings first, and then filling in the rest afterward. We spur into some really heavy detailing in this episode, which we need to be careful with to not tank the performance and/or hit prop limits - but in the end, the extra detailing seemed to be worth it! No idea, let's find out. Join me in this Cities: Skylines modded gameplay / let's play / timelapse series as we expand the region, and build new infrastructure, highways, public transit, industrial pockets, NIMBY-neighbourhoods, sprawling suburbs and bustling downtowns.
