Bass Singers and Low Notes Mega Compilation Part 1/5 - Last names A-F

So this is the first bass notes compilation that I've made in almost ten years. During that time period I've learned a lot more about the phenomenon of low singing, the various techniques used by singers in that category and, possibly most importantly, how to more accurately identify which technique is being used (i.e. modal, mixed, fry, subharmonics, growl, etc.). I've also been exposed to (and come to enjoy) a wider array of music, particularly A Capella and Choral music. This video will feature bass singers with last names beginning with A through those beginning with F. It will start with the recently-deceased Gospel bass Will Adkins and will end with the A Capella singer Tim Foust. I have also been careful to include clips that not only use various techniques but also some with close microphones and others without close microphones. If all that's shown is a note name and octave number, that means that singer is using a close microphone and is producing the note using either modal or mixed (chest/fry) voice (i.e. their true singing voice is producing the fundamental, with or without some fry possibly mixing in). If other techniques and/or mic placements are being used, they will be indicated next to the note. As is said in the opening title card, this mega compilation will consist of five parts, of which this video is the first. The first four videos will feature individual singers (arranged alphabetically) while the fifth will feature groups of singers doing low notes together (starting with two at a time and going up to ten or eleven at once by the end). As I have a lot going on right now, I don't know how soon the second video will be out, but I plan to complete all five, so just be sure to stay tuned for those and, for now, enjoy this first video!
